Lil City Creamery, in the City of Falls Church, proudly serves hand-scooped ice cream from Woodside Farm in Hockessin, DE. Made on the farm with milk from their uber-pampered, grass-fed Jersey cows, happily mooing since 1796!
We also offer flavors from Bassett’s Ice Cream of Philadelphia, a dairy that began in 1861, when its earliest batches were churned by mule power.

Our shop may be cozy, but there are plenty of outdoor seating options or windows to shop, with a canopy for shade or rain protection. Plus, enjoy the convenience of free parking in the back.

Woodside Farm, situated in the rolling hills near
Hockessin Delaware, has been around since 1796.
It is one of the oldest, continuously working farms in the United States and has been in the same family that entire time. They raise a small herd of uber-pampered, grass-fed Jersey Cows (the Brown ones). and make their Ice Cream right at the Farm.
